TENNIS & PICKLEBALL GUIDELINES
1.) Hours and reservations
Courts are available to all members. The courts will be open from 8:00 am until dusk, 7 days a week. When the Tennis Pro or assistant is not on duty, the courts will be locked to prevent damage to the courts and to prevent non-members from using the courts. A key will be provided at the pool office to enter and enjoy use of the courts. 2.) Signing up for a court time If there are members that are waiting for an available court. There will be a 60-minute playing time on all courts. A sign-up sheet will be available in the Pro Shop and you may sign up again to play again if they want to continue playing and wait for the next available court. It is advisable for all members to sign in on the sheet available even if no other players are waiting to play. Players may not be signed up for a court and be on another court at the same time. 3.) Courts 4 & 5 Courts 4 & 5 may be used by all members. However, please understand that the Club Pros will be using these courts for teaching primarily and they do have the permission of the club to do so as these have been designated as the primary teaching courts. Since courts 4&5 are also marked for Pickleball the pro may decide to use one of the other courts for teaching if this can be arranged in order to allow pickleball to be played on courts 4 & 5. 4.) Reservations of the courts The Tennis Committee may reserve the Courts for occasional tournaments, exhibitions, round robins or other club social events. 5.) Guests Guests have to come to the main gate by the pool and check in. Cost is $5 per kid under 18 and $10 for adults. A guest is allowed to come 3 times. 6.) Instruction fees The Tennis Pros have been authorized to charge for any private or group tennis or pickleball lessons that will be published and available by asking the Tennis Pro. If you cannot make your lesson time you are able to furnish a substitute for you lesson or you will charged for the lesson in full as a “No-show”. All group lessons are payable in advance and private lessons are payable after each lesson is completed. 7.) Clothing Appropriate tennis clothing must be worn at all times. Players will not be permitted to play without shirts on and may not play pickleball or tennis with bathing suits on. Rubber soled tennis shoes must be worn at all times and black soled shoes or shoes that mark the playing surface are strictly prohibited. 8.) Miscellaneous general rules a.)
